New: Catrice & Essence Collection Update

European beauty budget lovers might know that super budget brand Catrice & Essence have a collection switch two times a year. Now in February the first change of 2015 comes.

I had a closer look and I'm showing you my favourites. Take a look.

Maybelline: Fit Me Concealer

Since a few weeks I have been really loving some of my Maybelline product. For my eyes I use their color tattoos and 90% of time a maybelline mascara, for foundation I use the Dream wonder Nude foundation, which I totally like, and so on ..

Now Maybelline never really occupied a place in my concealer spot so it was about time to change that. And here I am, Fit Me Concealer. Worth the hype, lets take a look.

Real Techniques Miracle Complexion Sponge & Catrice Make Up Blending Sponge

If there is anything I get stuck to if loved it must be the way I apply my foundation. I've been hooked on round top foundation brushes and flat top foundation brushes. Also the dupes of the so called beauty blender.

Now since my Cosmopolitan sponge has gotten seriously gross I hadn't have one for months. Yet ever since my sister took the Real Techniques sponge from England again and I got the new Catrice blender I could relive the goodness of it.

Maybelline: Lash Sensational Mascara

Mascara addiction .. Yes I admit. I could keep purchasing mascara, yet there is one single brand that always does the job for me. Seriously never lets me down. Maybelline is just the best in its kind.

Since a few weeks there was a card showing a new mascara in the drugstores display, seemed interesting so why not give it a go.

Yet it took a long time to actually arrive and you've guessed it right. After serious testing I'm back with its review.

CoverGirl: Flamed Out Mascara

A few weeks ago I went to Switzerland with my mom & dad to visit some friends. There wasn't to much time to proper shop and the place where I stayed wasn't to city central.

Yet one of the supermarkets had a nice surprise in store for me. A CoverGirl display. And of course I had to pick something up.

What else to give my opinion on than mascara, of course.

New In: Maybelline Fit Me Concealer

I there is something I just go and get, it must be concealer. Its not something I follow the hypes for yet. There are some ones I most definitely want to give a go.

This Fit Me concealer by Maybelline was one of them. Hyped a lot and when finally hit in Belgian drugstores I was a second hype all over again. Yet I only get this last week and haven't used it yet.

So therefore here is a small overview.

Whenever I get a new make up item, I really enjoy testing it. Sometimes I just get my hopes up to high and the product lets me down very much.

Physicians Formula: Happy Booster Powder

Last week I showed you a nice looking powder from Physicians Formula. It was called the Happy Booster Powder. I got intrigued about it since I was fairly unclear to me how this could be a powder when there were obvious shimmers added to the powder.

Yet I thought it might be a good idea to use is as blush. Or probably more suitable as highlighter.

A few weeks ago I went shopping with my mom and went into a fancy Belgian store called Planet Perfum. They sell all kinds of different brands, like YSL, Estée Lauder, Givenchy, etc ...

With my purchase the store manager was so kind in giving me A LOT of different samples. Also a YSL mascara that I sure didn't mind in trying for you.

And that is what you get today. YSL babydoll, is it good?

Music Madness #7 Soundtrack To My Life: Tag

Music is for me extremely important. If you didn't already know I do a monthly music related post. This month I didn't found to much new music yet I did find a tag that just screams my name (credit to Zoe and Lily)

As you might all have picked up the past months YouTubers really are getting humongous! Two girls on Youtube that I follow myself have been in the picture a lot. They are called Tanya Burr and Zoe Sugg aka Zoella and they both launched their own a beauty/cosmetics range.

I wanted to give their products a try if I could but wasn't to high up on da wishlist. Now having a sister travelling back and forth to a Scottish girlfriend the opportunity was there.

A few months ago I have been to Belgium's biggest make up/beauty fair in Brussels. I found it more focused on nail and beauty specialist but as make up junkie I therefore got more excited about the make up brands present.

The Balm cosmetics: Nude'tude Palette & Pretty Smart Lipgloss

There are always a few brands that seem interesting to you but you kind of resign with the fact you are close to not able at all to get hold of it.

The Balm was one of those brands. Since a few months the brand is available in one of our Belgian drugstores. Thank god, finally! And I only last week found myself a two new non damaged product.

Plus there was a discount, YES ME.

LCN: Sweet Serenity

Whenever there is a new limited edition collection coming I always want to give them a try. Mainly because of the fact that they are limited. And a few weeks ago I got news that LCN had come with a new LE.

Now at first I thought I didn't know the brand but yes I did. They aren't (with me) as known for their make up yet well known for their nailpolishes again at least I did know them that way.

The collection called Sweet Serenity comes with a range of make up products and 4 new LCN nailpolishes. Lets have a look.

Catrice: Pure Shine Tinted Lip Balm

Having colourful hair I find it really hard to match a nice lipstick. I have been wearing my In A Rosegarden lipstick for almost every day now. But I really think it is time to expand to more colours not just one.

When the Catrice Pure Shine Colour Lip Balm chubby sticks of some sort came out I really liked them. Now a new type came. A lip balm instead of proper lipstick.

New In + First Impression: Catrice Illuminating & Bronzing Pen

A few weeks ago, as most of you will know, Catrice introduced the 'new dimension' display. There are actually three displays in one huge display.

I was able to find everything I wanted back then aside from one lipstick that I'm still on the hunt for. These two pens I found very interesting yet I only tried them this week.

With these boring plain dark days arriving, I love to apply highlighter and brighten up my face since as said the days aren't. And now it the perfect time to use them.

As I am watching the EMAs right now I thought it would be really fun to write a review about a Limited Edition that comes with the famous music show, this year, held in Glasgow, Scotland.

The Rock Out collection seemed to be focused on the younger girls since, to me, it had that appearance. The collection wasn't to interesting for me but I did pick up the blush.

If I could I would wanna try every mascara coming out on the market. It is for me the most fun to try out. Having hooded eyes, mascara comes in use every single day.

When being in London I picked up several body products from Soap & Glory and I of course had to purchase myself a mascara. The mascara I had seen before was the Volume mascara. But this packaging caught my eyes instantly.

Therefore today my thoughts on this flash effect mascara.

If there is anything I have a huge love hate relationship it must be my hair. That one moment I couldn't be happier with the way it looks. And just 5 minutes later it seems to be ruined!

I am naturally light blonde. But dying my hair seems to be my newest passion.

Catrice: Absolute Matt Palette

A full drugstore matt palette is very hard to find. Sleek has a very good one. Its the Ultra Mattes V2 Darks palette which I am very pleased about.

However its a tad harder to get my hands on Sleek and a few weeks ago Catrice came with the amazing news that they would release a new add to their 'absolute' palettes. A full matt palette.

Make Up For Ever: HD primer

Recently I went to a make up fair in Brussels, BE. I was fairly disappointed about the fair. The fair, in my opinion, was more focused on nail specialists. Yes I like nails but I went there for the make up.

Yet what I did found was a display by one of my favourite high end brands. Make Up For Ever.

Even better I got a student discount. I couldn't pass!

I got myself a primer. I decided to get an add of my HD collection.

Going down the budget road the past blogposts! Turns out I love me some good budget and I love to show you guys that!

Today, yes no surprise here, I am showing you some Essence goodies that came with their new autumn/winter change.

Remember me reviewing the Essence Soo Blush products. I really enjoyed them. Perfect for summer.

Yet with autumn and winter approaching the sunny days are gone, I like to create a more highlighted and bronzed face to lighten up the plain days, if that makes sense. And therefore these highlighters come in the picture.

Catrice: Velvet Finish, Foundation & Concealer

The past few weeks new budget goodies came into Belgian drugstores. I of course went a bit crazy.

When seeing what was coming in stores by Catrice cosmetics I instantly set eyes on their new foundations. The Nude Illusion Foundation got very mixed reviews. But I really liked it. Great coverage and fairly longlasting.

This new duo I had to try as well since it got very good reviews. Today I am providing you with my thoughts on it.

Soap & Glory: Lipproducts, Gloss Stick & Lip Lacquer

On my trip to London I went a bit crazy in the lip department. Color Elixir by Maybelline and Revlon Colorburst Moisture Stain. And some more. The choice over there was so big and I wish I would have taken more products. But I had to make decisions.

Soap & Glory was one of thé brands I had to bring the most of. A gloss stick and lip lacquer were also chosen.

I haven't been to experimental on the lacquer part. And the sticky gloss things I have already a lot of. Still I couldn't resist!

Today I will reveal my thoughts on both lovelies. Worth the trip or not? Lets find out.

Catrice: Prime & Fine, Healthy Look Primer

Primers, I 90% of times don't see what their point is. I have tried several ones and if I use one its my Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser but only on special occasions.

Last week Catrice cosmetics came out with a new primer. Healthy look primer. Their first two primer were, in my opinion, quit a big fail. They actually made me ever more oily and made it even possible that my foundation was lasting for only a short amount of time.

Yet when I saw this new prime and fine product came I just had to try it and therefore today's blogpost is about this new product.

Revlon: Ultimate Suede Lipstick

Lipstick. I have enough of those, yes. But there is always that slightly different shade or texture that is just worth the extra lipstick.

I love my Revlon lipsticks and recently I did an amazing discovery. Revlon in my hometown! And the lipstick display had some gems I haven't seen before. Not even when being in London.

And today I am giving you my thought on some suede lipsticks.

Nars: Sheer Glow Foundation

Foundation is something tricky to get spot on. I normally can get away with the shades whenever the undertone is correct. But if I decide to get myself a High End foundation I want it match perfectly! Logical isn't it, because it is a big amount of money to pay.

In London I finally convinced myself to get thé foundation that was on top of my luxury wishlist. Nars, loved and mentioned a lot with other bloggers. But was this price all worth it?

September is over. Summer is over! Yes someone is getting depressed here! I already see and notice major skin differences and I don't like it!

This month wasn't a month of a lot of experimenting therefore. I stuck to a well loved look of mine and that transfers into my monthly favourites which is kind of also my everyday make up.

Maybelline: BROWdrama

Brows, I am the only girl who always seems to struggle getting my eyebrows in place to how I want? Probably not. 

I can't seen to first of find a proper shade powder or gel product to match my very light hair, yet darker brows. Whenever I saw the add for Browdrama by Maybelline, I wanted to try that one.

I bought it in London and got matches to one of the shades by the Maybelline girl in Superdrug.

Earlier today I presented you with a new mascara review by Catrice. As second one of today, there are more Catrice goodies coming your way.

Catrice: Lash Extention Mascara

I am a sucker for good quality (budget) mascara. Up to this day I have tried a billion ones and not a single mascara won from my beloved Maybelline mascaras.

And even though I always think about a mascara that I wouldn't like it as much. I love to test them. They are my favourite things to try!

So it wouldn't surprise you that I am back with another mascara review. This time budget and totally new in the drugstore in Belgium.

Essence: Effect Eyeshadow

Lately I prefer to go for cream shadows, they are easy to use, quick and if you are as lazy as I am in the morning, creams are your best friend.

I already found some precious babies in the Maybelline Color Tattoo creams and I haven't found one that could compete next to them.

Yet with an Essence change a few months ago (where I wasn't to impressed about) I did find new creams.

Effect shadows. Way cheaper than Maybelline. Are they better than my Maybelline ones? Lets find out.

Soap & Glory: Love at First Blush

I am a big fan of Soap & Glory! Their make up range is super cute even their body and skin care are included with a super adorable packaging. After some testing I can definitely say I want more!

One of my newest purchases was a blush. The Peach Party blush brick, I reviewed already, click here to see that one, I love to pieces. I think it has been my most used blush the past months. 

But I may have found another contestant to compete!

Oh yeah, time for another madness! I actually had a pretty good month .. Yes exciting releases have been announced and hopefully that will come with some upcoming tours as well.

First Impression: Soap & Glory products

A brand well loved by British bloggers and YouTubers is Soap & Glory. And you can't blame them for the packaging alone I would want to own all of their goodies. 

I already was able to get to try the blush brick in Peach Party, I've written a review about it here. Much love towards this powder product. Up to this day it has been used really a loads!

There in London the hunt was on for Soap & Glory products. Make up and body care. Today is my first thought on some of the already quickly tried the body and hand products.
Lets have a look.

Maybelline: Matte Maker powder

Powder, in summer I somehow always skip on powder. Where as the hot days might love some powder. This time a year, powder has gotten back in use. Mainly just for some T-zone powder. Since that is thé place I really need it!

-This sentence is going to be repeated a lot more, be prepared- On my trip to London something that was on the wishlist was the Maybelline 24h Superstay Powder. Yet as the tittle suggests I didn't got that one.

On my trip to London I really got in the mood for getting myself loads of lip products. All those thing that aren't available here or if they are over there they were less expensive. Hurts the wallet a lot but so far it was all worth it!

On the Revlon counter there were some precious goodies as well. Well spoken about in the UK blogger community and I of course wanted to give this a try too.

Maybelline: Color Elixir

Recently I have found my ultimate nude shade in the form of a lipstick. In A Rosegarden by Catrice. Affordable, gorgeous and so nude! That search took me ages and the lipstick instantly was the only one used in a long long times, also most used and almost finished as well.

Yet on my trip to London I found something. Wanting this specific product after lots of love by Essie Button I was most happy realising that I indeed could find them in Boots and Superdrug. I took three to start with ^^

Essence: Hello Autumn Eyeshadow Palettes

Ever since summer I feel local budget brands as Essenc and Catrice really are doing great in the Limited Edition department! Metallure was awesome, upcoming ones are great too and the new Hello Autumn, I instantly loved! Focused on the autumn shades this collection is perfect for that time of the year.

The collection includes make up wise: 2 palettes, brow powders, eyeliners, two lipcreams, nailpolish, blush and a powder. Also some hairbands.

I got myself the two palettes, the powder and the blush. Which there will be reviews about. Today first of are the two palettes.

First Impression: Make Up For Ever HD Foundation

HD foundation is something that I have never tried before. I did use it in my old make up class where we had the possibility to work with Make Up For Evers' HD translucent powder which BTW absolutely amazing.

We also where able to get us some make up for ever products doing the education. Something that always intrigued me were their foundations. The Mat Velvet + is already tested and ..  

FINALLY!! After my order did I placed about three months ago I received it: Make Up For Ever HD foundation!

First impression? Oh yes!

London: Take 2

Yes, the title is correct. Friday I am off to London again. This will be my second time and let me tell you, I am excited! I have worked a lot the past months and those 6 days in total off, are more than welcome.

Last time I went to this lovely city I had quite a huge wishlist. Well this time she has grown 10 times bigger. That equals a broke me after I get back. But I don't mind at all! Shopping is like the main goal of this trip.

August Favourites

Well where did August go? Where did the summer went to? I can't believe this year is passing by so quickly. This month the new fall/winter collection (make up and fashion wise) started to arrive in stores. Dark lips for the win you know. 

I can't wait to try all those new beauties as well. However I kept my make up very natural this month. I didn't splurged to much on new stuff and pink hair and colourful make up somehow don't fit me.

NYC: Expert Last Lip Lacquer

NYC aka New York Color is a brand I somehow don't own anything from. The products don't appeal to me. But since a few weeks I really started to see more from them, also online.

I definitely feel they stepped up their game I am fell for it a tiny bit a well. I wanted to get a perfect second match to my beloved Catrice In a Rosegarden lipstick. And my found is a recommended shade from NYC.

Maybelline: The Colossal Go Extreme Mascara

Lately the mascara department hasn't been to "wow" for me.
There has been a few new launches but non that I wanted to purchase in Belgium. Since I am going to London in about a week I am 'trying' to save some money!

However there was one mascara I bought because I couldn't find it anywhere online.
And it is a beloved brand of mine. Maybelline and the Volum' Express line.

New In: Essence Hello Autumn

Limited Editions, you have got to love them. The last Limited Edition however from Essence, I wasn't intrigued by and actually purchased nothing.

This time there was a very intrigued me and I got myself everything I wanted!

Maybelline: The Eraser Concealer

Concealers ... I skipped them several months ago. But I somehow return to my rituals all the time. The highlight underneath eyes just looks very nice.

But I have high hopes for a concealer. Lightweight but still providing me with a good coverage.

I used to hear really great things about one certain concealer the Collection Lasting Perfection concealer. Indeed I get where the hype is coming from but I still feel is to bit to heavy for me, personally.

A couple of weeks ago now I bought myself another well spoken concealer. Today I am reviewing it for you.

My life: Personal update!

The past few days I haven't been able to reach for my laptop at all. I have been really busy at work and I had to babysit the past two days as well. Making me really tired at night. Since the evening of my last update I hadn't prepared any more blogposts.

Today I am home at night and I thought it was time for a new category on my blog 'My Life'. I hope one day it will be a frequently returning blogpost for today I am presenting you the first 'My Life' blogpost.

Revlon: Colorburst Lacquer Balm

Lipproducts, somehow I love them to pieces but I find it always a huge struggle to find colour that exactly match to what I want.

On my last shopping trip to Antwerp there was another Revlon discount going on. 25% on each purchased Revlon product. And as usual I couldn't let this discount to pass me by.

I ended up with my Revlon Photoready BB cream and another product that has been talked about loads in bloggerworld.

The Lacquer Balm. Is it good? Lets have a look.

Catrice: Nude Illusion Foundation

Yesterdays post was about a cover product and today I am going down the same road again. And same brand as well.

Catrice and her new foundation. I first didn't want to buy this one and go for the Velvet Finish Foundation with hyaluron but some new products aren't to be found. Also this one.

I was in my local drugstore and my obsession came across again and I just purchased it.

Catrice: BB cream

As summer is slowly coming to its end (I hate that) I am also coming to the end of my purchased BB creams. In my daily routine the BB creams are also less used and I am giving my foundations another go.

The last BB cream I am reviewing for you is one that I have heard supposed to be fairly good. Decent coverage, longwearing and budget. Well I like all of those claims.
