Catrice: Update Spring/Summer 2016

Every Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer the budget brand Catrice makes big changes to their standard assortment. 

When I got the news about it, I thought it would be a nice idea to show you my favourites.

Music Madness #18: I totally adore ...

I always seem to be on the hunt for new music, new bands. I find them! However my MP3 player can't handle that much music. Thank god for a laptop with big intern memory :)

My latest three I totally adore ... I will share with you.

MAC: Matte Royal Lipstick

When it comes to lipsticks I am totally living for the super brown lip colours. Sometimes it can be seen as an odd shade to wear but I am a proper fan of odd shades.

So one of the new shades from MAC, called Matte Royal, had to be in my collection, since it is very odd. And that odd shade came to my collection, obviously.

Rimmel: 24h Super Curler Mascara

If there is a brand that I usually get disappointed about when it comes to their mascaras it must be Rimmel. They somehow never get it completely right. Though a lot of people seem to like them.

I still wanna try all of their newbies to maybe find that one, better than a great Rockin' Curves mascara. The search isn't over.

LCN: Lost In Luxury

With the holidays coming, the festive collections are a fact. One of the collections I got to try was LCNs Lost In Luxury.

This new collection is exactly as the name suggests, luxury for your holidays. Have a look.

Wishlist: Sinterklaas

The holidays are coming! And that in my family starts with the 6th of December Sinterklaas (correctly translated is indeed Santa Claus but its pretty much the same as the famous 'Christmas Man :) )

We still write the good old man a letter, he picks it up and leaves some treats and than on night 5 to 6 December he drops all the presents.

My wishlist? Of course I have one!

Max Factor: Masterpiece Transform Mascara

If I can keep buying and trying one beauty item. It'll sure be my favourite, mascara. Having hooded eyes mascara is a saviour in opening them and making them look bigger.

Of course when there is a deal going on in the drugstore in I must take advantage of that. And my latest purchase was my very first Max Factor one.

Benefit: Hoola Bronzer

I am not the biggest bronzer/contour fanatic on a daily base. its to much a hassle to already be matchy matchy with my foundation and than also be matchy matchy with my bronzer.

However on special occasions I like to use it to make a look stand out even more. And there is this one product that I have always considered to purchase but never did.

The Hoola bronzer is such a cult product by Benefit, loads of people have it. And that is why I gave it a go too. Lets do this!

Maybelline: Color Tattoo Gel Cream Shadows

Yes I have been extremely lazy in the make up department. The more ease, the better. I haven't been using eyeshadow palettes either.

Therefore I went down another road. My best friends these days are definitely cream shadows.

And because of that its time to put my thoughts finally in a review.
Lets go!

Music Madness #17: Played in Belgium

Previous week has been one of 2 shows and I got to know some awesome new bands and I absolutely adored it.

Therefore, my long awaited next Music Madness is dedicated to my last attended shows.

Benefit: Bad Gal Lash Mascara

Whenever I try high end mascara I get super high hopes for it. That is what I expect when I spend over 20 euros for it.

Ever since Benefit got available in Ghent I really wanted to try one of their mascaras to compare with my They're Real Mascara. 

And that is exactly what I am doing for you today.

Flormar: Copper Dreams Quartet Eye Shadow

Since weeks I am down the winged liner lane. If I go for the 5 minute make up look I always make sure my wing is on point. I simply can't live with it.

Now since liner takes a while I skip the shadow department and go for a cream shadow which takes zero time. (review of a cream in a couple of days). If I do intend to go for browns or a fun little palette I got my hands on a few months ago.

By the end of September I got the opportunity to go to Glasgow, Scotland. I took that chance and went over there for 3 days.

Maybelline: Color Drama Intense Velvet Lip Pencil

On my trip to Dublin I was restricted to have only 1l of fluid with me on the plane. Therefore the lipstick department got lots of love from me. 

I got myself 2 lip pencils from Maybelline that I, so far, didn't found these in Belgium. 

So, I took two to give a go. Lets see how these work.

Lifestyle: Half Half Hair

I don't live the most colourful lifestyle when it comes to my clothing. However with my hair, it can't ever be colourful enough.

Since September I dyed my hair half half. I have been wanting to do so in a very long time and I couldn't decide on one colour so I picked two instead.

Several months ago I was able to try out a new lipstick by Pupa Milano. Which was an absolute winner. Check it out here. The lipstick was one of their newest range called the I'm lipstick.

I have always wanted to try more shades and luckily I got one of my favourite shades to try.

Maybelline: Go Chaotic Mascara

On my trips to Glasgow I went into Superdrug. Ah it was a long time. And I never walked out without not buying anything. Also last time. 

I went out with a new mascara by Maybelline to satisfy the mascara addiction. It is one not available in Belgium so I had to pick pick it up.

MAC: Stone Lipstick aka My September Favourite

In my massive September travels and splurge I was debating with myself what on earth I would put up as next review on the blog. 

Yet I came to the decision that I wanted to write about my biggest love this month. One of my newest MAC Lipstick. Yes, Stone!

Hello there. Do you remember me? Yes I used to post on this blog rather frequently. However I have been on holiday for the most of September and I got some horrible news a few days ago that I needed to give some time to let that sink in.

Now. That being said. I thought it would be a nice idea to forget all situations for a second and relax with my favourite hobby, listening to music.

Today I am doing so by jumping back in time to my 12 year old self. Bands that used to be on replay.

Recap: Dublin Trip

Last week I had some very welcome holidays. Me and my friend decided that it would be nice to spend that free week elsewhere and go on a trip.

So we did. To Dublin, Ireland. At first is was the plan to hike around in the Wicklow Mountains for about 4-5 days but eventually we changed our plans since it would be super expensive to do hike.

Flormar: Deluxe Cashmere Lipstick Stylo

Nude lipsticks, such a hassle to find a proper shade that doesn't make you look dead, neither one that makes your teeth look yellow. I have found two nudes that I like loads and wear nearly everyday.

And I think I have found number 3 on my latest Flormar visit in Brussels. Let me show you.

Hello there. For a little while only. I have just arrived back in Belgium and next week I am already leaving again. This time for Glasgow, Scotland. I always wanted to visit this city since my sister goes there rather often and keeps bragging about it!

Lifestyle: Dublin Plans

In two days I'll be off to Dublin for my long awaited week holiday! Not having to work for more than 1 day has been quit rare these past few weeks since the Belgian summer holiday only starts by the 1st of September here.

I can't wait for my week off. *FINALLY* Now I am not very familiar with Dublin but I have some plans already set for when I'm there.

New In: Flormar Products

Whenever I am in Brussels I usually hop into the Flormar Store. I first visited them when I was in Switzerland and now I seem to like the brand quite a lot.

I love their Fusion Serum Foundation and the Rotating Mascara! And I apparently  want to extend my collection a little bit more. Last time there was a 3 for 2 deal and I of course bought some goodies.

Music Madness #15: The German Way

Ever since Graspop I was determined to learn Swedish. Best way to do so for me is to listen to Swedish songs, youtubers and such. Because when I wanted to learn German I did the exact same by listening to German bands.

Every other autumn and spring budget brands Catrice and Essence switch up their collections by adding new products, colours or taking some non sellers away.

Their famous absolute line has a new fifth add and I obviously gave it a go.

What do you do in your free time? Chillax of course! I love to watch movies (Netflix is my best movie friend). Recently I have been watching a couple of movies that totally stand out to me.

Even though you love make up, easiness, sometimes that is all you want in the morning! Eyeshadowcreams, shadowsticks, etc ... Catrice created a new sort of shadowstick. Eyepowder pens.

I was really excited when I got the news that they would come out and I had to put these easy looking pens to the test.

Ever since I got my Cyber lipstick I really started liking the idea of trying more MAC products. Especially more lipsticks.

I am loving the dark lipstick thing again (even though its still summer) and MAC has some pretty ones to offer.

I love to use selftanner in summer. I am very pale so I like to have that lovely tanned body during the 2,5 (hopefully nearly 3 full months) during summer.

I don't wear heels often. I can't stand the pain of wearing heels often. That is why I, before a few months ago, had just two pair of heels.

July has been such a busy month. This is my first night off since my last blogpost. I have gone to the belgian coast, have gone to the annual 10 day Ghent Festival. And from tomorrow until the end of the Festival I wont be home.

So now I must take advantage of that free time and finally put up my long awaited review of the newest Nars foundation that I have been so eager to try.

100 years Maybelline: Great Lash Mascara

Maybelline is in the business for a 100 years. And they are celebrating with the return of the Great Lash mascara. I have been wanting to try it in like forever but they don't sell it in Belgium and elsewhere I just found already opened tubes.

This time I'm lucky. They finally store it in my favourite drugstore. Of course I had to give it a go and obviously share my thoughts on it.

Sales are on here in Belgium. I think it has been a very long time that I've actually searched around in those racks full of sales to find some gems. But I also haven't shopped for clothing either in a long time as well.

About three weeks ago I went to Graspop Metal Meeting for the third time. It is a three day metal festival in Dessel, BE. I had an amazing time and saw some of my favourite bands up close.

Pupa: Summer Edition

Here in Belgium we're in mid summer right now. It has been crazy hot the past few days and the nearly no make up days appeared again.

In about three months I got myself three high end concealers. Being the MAC Pro Long Wear Concealer, the MUFE Full Cover Cream Concealer and my latest purchase.

This NARS Radiant Creamy Concealer. I wanted just as with the other two know what the hype is all about and even maybe, like the MAC concealer, not follow the hype that much.

And obviously today is all about that newest baby.

Mascara, yes addiction over here. I recently made a deal with myself that I am allowed to buy one new mascara whenever I go shopping in/on a new store or website.

Rimmel: Wonderfull Mascara

So everyone has this weakness towards some particular make up items. If you read my blog for some time now you know I'm addicted to mascara.

Maybe a little to much since I purchase a shit load of mascara and the majority doesn't impress me at all. However I get ever to excited whenever I can have discounts on them.

My latest purchase? The Wonderfull Argan Oil Mascara from Rimmel and I of course must share my thoughts.

2B: Perfect Skin Beautifier BB Cream

Sometimes there are these brands you know of, you have 1 or 2 staple items but overall you pass by the brand. That is the exact thing I have with the 2B brand.

Several weeks ago I found someone raging about their newest CC cream. I accidentally took the wrong product. The BB cream instead of CC cream. Yet I still wanted to give it an honest go.

Elf & Flormar: Setting Spray

Hot days and making your make up last. Its a struggle that I have came across with the last two hot days we had in Belgium. In winter I bought myself 2 setting sprays. One from Elf and Flormar.

They haven't been opened, tested, what so ever. Now during those hot days it was the perfect time to give them a go.
