Rimmel: BB cream

Until a few weeks ago I always wore a full foundation, even during summer (I do like to put effort into putting make up on my face). But since a few weeks, especially during sweaty weather, I started to prefer a lightweight product on my face.

So I went shopping for some BBcreams and other goodies with some coverage.
Today I am showing you the first of those purchsaes.
Keep reading to find out more.

My first product I bought was a BB cream from Rimmel. It is called the 9 in 1 Skin Perfecting Super Makeup.
The claims: Primes, moisturizes, minimizes pores, conceals, covers and smoothes, mattifies, brightens and helps protect.

They also says to be lightweight, ultra comfortable formula which supposed to give you instant flawless and 100% natural finish.
SPF 25. It is available in 3 shades and I got the shade Light.
First let me talk about the shade range in those squeeze tubes = crap. The lightest shade is definitely not light and I am not able to wear this without selftanner.

A good thing about this is already includes SPF 25. You should at least wear a bit of SPF everyday with your foundation (but if you are lazy as me this comes in handy).

When I finally got to use this what I instantly noticed is that this is a fairly thick formula. And not near as fluid as other BBcreams I used before.
What comes with that thickness is that this BBcream feels more as an actual foundation instead of a BBcream (which was the whole point of switching to BBcream). But after leaving this sink in, the claim of being lightweight indeed suits this cream very well.

I don't feel that this acts like a primer or that it mattifies properly. Or at least it doesn't work that way on me.

Then the coverage, it is actually really good for being a BBcream. Which I was really impressed about. It is much more coverage than you get with other BBcreams.
Lastly I want to talk about the smooth and bright effect. I personally don't see either of these claims. It product does feel fairly good when you have left it sink in but I wouldn't call this smooth. And the brightness I definitely don't see.

This product lasts me for about 4 to 5 hours without fading. But the past few days I have started to finish a primer that I almost used up and I don't like it with these hot days.

Overall thought: To be honest I like it but on the other hand I don't like it. It is a lovehate relationship. I don't know if I want to have a thick medium coverage cream like this on my face, but when it is not as hot and humid I believe it would definitely work.

Tell me, do you have multiple thoughts about this product to?
