Products that I don't use: Part 1

I buy a lot a beauty items. Maybe a bit to much (guilty). I always try and put those items to the test and 95% of the times I actually keep using them.

Sometimes though it happens that I don't come to using them anymore. Because I started not liking them anymore or just simply don't use.

And that is what todays article is about. The products that I don't use, part 1.

The products I picked I really haven't used in months. I once got really excited to purchase them and review them.
I have put them to the test, yes. But after that they were just laying in my draws.

I am first starting of with a base. The Colour Arts eye base from Essence. This is to be honest a very good base. It has no colour to it. This is just a clear substance.

I doesn't crease and doesn't gets oily on my eyelids. But I simply don't use it, not even on special occasions. 

For a base I only use my concealer, which works perfectly for me.

The next product I told about before. The quattro eyeshadow palette from Essence in Most Wanted.

In this blogpost I wrote about it already. It came down to the fact that this palette has a lot a fall out, only glitter appearing on your eyelids and chalky. I tried it several times, but never liked it. So I don't use it.

This next palette I haven't wrote about yet. It was limited edition from the Feathers & Pearls collection. And it's called Hollywood's Golden Age. At first this palette looks really appealing.

This palette includes 4 very glittery eyeshadows and 1 cake liner. Very nice you think. Well I have the same issue with it as last palette. To much glitter! Plus there is my opinion no proper crease shadow. But the cake liner is of fine quality.

Still, it now is laying in the back of my collection.

Lastly for today, we finish with our eyes. The next product is a mascara. As you might know, I'm very very picky when it comes to mascara. And this one didn't make it to using it three times (once for testing, once giving it another try)

This is by far the WORST mascara I ever used in my life. The first application got so clumpy, spidery and my lashes got stuck together. Horrible mascara!
I tried to give it another go, but no. And I still haven't used it ever since.

Well, this was the first part of products that I don't use. And I'm sure there will be more. Because I have quite a lot of those hidden (gem) products that don't come to use  or liking.
