Urban Decay: Naked Skin Concealer

Hey, Hi there.. Do you remember me? Well I have been on a long desired vacation to London the past two weeks. And the days before that were to hectic to post good content so I decided to skip May and come back when I felt right about it. So lets do this.

Full coverage, non creasing, weightless, non cake-y and longlasting. What can you desire more from high end, hyped up concealers? I have major high hopes for something when literally everybody seems to mention only good things about beauty products.

I have to same 'issue' with the overly hyped up Naked Skin concealer from Urban Decay. Is it really that good and an overall favourite compared to my other favourites?

Lets put this one to the test shall we?

Maybelline: The Falsies, Push Up Drama

As many of you might already know, my weak spot in make up land is mascara. As a girl with more hooded eyes for me its extremely important to open up my eyes as much as possible.

So whenever a brand introduces me to a new release of mascara and the words volume and false looking lashes are included in the ad I have to give it a go.

And so does Maybelline with a newest add to their Falsies collection. Lets try this bad boy.

I Heart Make Up: Chocolate Bar Palettes

Big news in Belgian beauty land. The I Heart Make Up Palettes are available in our biggest country wide drugstore, Kruidvat. Loads of people ordered them online since us make up junkie lovers couldn't wait. 

I didn't purchase them because I do not want to spend money on delivery costs. And since they now are available in our drugstore, no delivery costs :) And after some lovely sisterly advice I decided to go for 2 of the Chocolate Palettes. Have a look.

Too Faced: Born This Way Foundation

Having such an unpredictable skin, I like my base products to have a great coverage. Which is not always easy to be found. I decided to make a splurge.

Back in Glasgow, yes September 2015, I bought myself the Born This Way Foundation from Too Faced. I wanted to see what that hype was all about and if indeed it is that good.

Well I only came to try it on January 31 for New Years Eve. (I don't want to fall in love with it and than finish it, Yes I'm that kind of girl) And after that day I gave it a proper go.

La Splash: Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick

The liquid lipstick game has been on the role, for quite a long time already, in other countries. However here in Belgium, it seems its nearly impossible to find good, pigmented, liquid lipsticks.

Now on my latest browse around other blogs I came across the brand La Splash. Its a semi budget brand selling liquid lipstick. So I decided to place an order on the boozyshop website. 

I got them in last week and instantly put them to all possible tests!

Catrice: Update Spring/Summer 2016

Every Autumn/Winter and Spring/Summer the budget brand Catrice makes big changes to their standard assortment. 

When I got the news about it, I thought it would be a nice idea to show you my favourites.

MAC: Matte Royal Lipstick

When it comes to lipsticks I am totally living for the super brown lip colours. Sometimes it can be seen as an odd shade to wear but I am a proper fan of odd shades.

So one of the new shades from MAC, called Matte Royal, had to be in my collection, since it is very odd. And that odd shade came to my collection, obviously.

Rimmel: 24h Super Curler Mascara

If there is a brand that I usually get disappointed about when it comes to their mascaras it must be Rimmel. They somehow never get it completely right. Though a lot of people seem to like them.

I still wanna try all of their newbies to maybe find that one, better than a great Rockin' Curves mascara. The search isn't over.

Wishlist: Sinterklaas

The holidays are coming! And that in my family starts with the 6th of December Sinterklaas (correctly translated is indeed Santa Claus but its pretty much the same as the famous 'Christmas Man :) )

We still write the good old man a letter, he picks it up and leaves some treats and than on night 5 to 6 December he drops all the presents.

My wishlist? Of course I have one!

Max Factor: Masterpiece Transform Mascara

If I can keep buying and trying one beauty item. It'll sure be my favourite, mascara. Having hooded eyes mascara is a saviour in opening them and making them look bigger.

Of course when there is a deal going on in the drugstore in I must take advantage of that. And my latest purchase was my very first Max Factor one.

Benefit: Hoola Bronzer

I am not the biggest bronzer/contour fanatic on a daily base. its to much a hassle to already be matchy matchy with my foundation and than also be matchy matchy with my bronzer.

However on special occasions I like to use it to make a look stand out even more. And there is this one product that I have always considered to purchase but never did.

The Hoola bronzer is such a cult product by Benefit, loads of people have it. And that is why I gave it a go too. Lets do this!

Benefit: Bad Gal Lash Mascara

Whenever I try high end mascara I get super high hopes for it. That is what I expect when I spend over 20 euros for it.

Ever since Benefit got available in Ghent I really wanted to try one of their mascaras to compare with my They're Real Mascara. 

And that is exactly what I am doing for you today.

Flormar: Copper Dreams Quartet Eye Shadow

Since weeks I am down the winged liner lane. If I go for the 5 minute make up look I always make sure my wing is on point. I simply can't live with it.

Now since liner takes a while I skip the shadow department and go for a cream shadow which takes zero time. (review of a cream in a couple of days). If I do intend to go for browns or a fun little palette I got my hands on a few months ago.

Maybelline: Color Drama Intense Velvet Lip Pencil

On my trip to Dublin I was restricted to have only 1l of fluid with me on the plane. Therefore the lipstick department got lots of love from me. 

I got myself 2 lip pencils from Maybelline that I, so far, didn't found these in Belgium. 

So, I took two to give a go. Lets see how these work.

Pupa: I'm 308

Several months ago I was able to try out a new lipstick by Pupa Milano. Which was an absolute winner. Check it out here. The lipstick was one of their newest range called the I'm lipstick.

I have always wanted to try more shades and luckily I got one of my favourite shades to try.

Maybelline: Go Chaotic Mascara

On my trips to Glasgow I went into Superdrug. Ah it was a long time. And I never walked out without not buying anything. Also last time. 

I went out with a new mascara by Maybelline to satisfy the mascara addiction. It is one not available in Belgium so I had to pick pick it up.

Chaotic experience or not?

Flormar: Deluxe Cashmere Lipstick Stylo

Nude lipsticks, such a hassle to find a proper shade that doesn't make you look dead, neither one that makes your teeth look yellow. I have found two nudes that I like loads and wear nearly everyday.

And I think I have found number 3 on my latest Flormar visit in Brussels. Let me show you.

Whenever I am in Brussels I usually hop into the Flormar Store. I first visited them when I was in Switzerland and now I seem to like the brand quite a lot.

I love their Fusion Serum Foundation and the Rotating Mascara! And I apparently  want to extend my collection a little bit more. Last time there was a 3 for 2 deal and I of course bought some goodies.

Rituals: Rice Milk & Cherry Blossom box

Reason why you guys don't get a lot of skincare on this blog is that I can't stand the majority of skincare products. I somehow get itchy and scratch my skin so bad until it turns into a wounds (because I am so itchy)

However sometimes you find these gems that you can stand and that are just magnificent. Which I have to, obviously, share with you.
