Graspop 2016. It will be my fourth passage going to the festival. And I couldn't be more excited (except for the shitty weather so far we are going to get).
Three days filled with music, friends and the occasional booze :) Since last year the festival has been held one week earlier than other years. This year the annual festival is hold June 17th until June 19th. Now what I am most excited to see live. Well my music madness had to be about Graspop this time.
You know these songs that just make you happy. Your guilty pleasure songs? I am a long time metal lover so anything not metal usually doesn't make it to the re play list.
However there are these songs that play in store or pop up when I go out and I can not stand still. And most likely these aren't metal. So I see these as my guilty pleasure. I just can't not dance. Take a look.
If you ask me what my current playlist is on my MP3 player. 99% of everything on there has a male vocalist. I just feel female voices need to wow me way more than a man, more easily, can do. However these last few months I found some interesting bands where the lead vocals are done by women! And I thought it was a good idea to dedicate this music madness to them.
If you ask me if I know 'that song'. My answer probably be 'heey, they play this in store'. Who it sings and what its name is. Hell knows ... If you have been following my music madness posts you will notice I am more a believer of hard music.
Those bands sometime have the coolest cover of a song. And that is exactly what this post is about.
I always seem to be on the hunt for new music, new bands. I find them! However my MP3 player can't handle that much music. Thank god for a laptop with big intern memory :) My latest three I totally adore ... I will share with you.
Previous week has been one of 2 shows and I got to know some awesome new bands and I absolutely adored it. Therefore, my long awaited next Music Madness is dedicated to my last attended shows.
Hello there. Do you remember me? Yes I used to post on this blog rather frequently. However I have been on holiday for the most of September and I got some horrible news a few days ago that I needed to give some time to let that sink in. Now. That being said. I thought it would be a nice idea to forget all situations for a second and relax with my favourite hobby, listening to music. Today I am doing so by jumping back in time to my 12 year old self. Bands that used to be on replay.
Ever since Graspop I was determined to learn Swedish. Best way to do so for me is to listen to Swedish songs, youtubers and such. Because when I wanted to learn German I did the exact same by listening to German bands.
Sometimes you got that feeling where you think its all going wrong. You feel bad, think bad and genuinely have a horrible week. Well that is what I have had. All together just sometimes ruins the mood!
As you all know music always helps me through those rough periods and hate songs are needed. And that is exactly what I'm presenting you today.
Another month has past another music madness has occurred. This time I have been experiencing some songs that give me great goosebumps. Most I have when I hear them live because there is no feeling that can ever compare to the goosebumps you get then. Have you ever had that feeling. Definitely share the moment in the comments. Lets start!
About three weeks ago I went to Graspop Metal Meeting for the third time. It is a three day metal festival in Dessel, BE. I had an amazing time and saw some of my favourite bands up close.
I know, I haven't been the best blogger lately. Its quiet rather often but I am promising it will change. May and June have been extremely busy. Especially the last two weeks from June. I went to Graspop, I had my birthday, went out to much and went shopping Saturday. Now what has been happening next to all those things. Take a look. I'll explain!
Sometimes you need like a giant break from everything and go mental on your favourite music. Whilst typing this I am going crazy on the Tokio Hotel Kings of Suburbia album, yes I need it! My go crazy songs switch up everyday. And today I wanted to share my favourite songs that I like to go crazy on these days. Have a look.
Yes I'm back with my monthly music madness. I have waited to months for this one to come up because I wanted it to have a equal good content as my precious 10th Feel It All World Tour review. This month I thought I would be nice to summon up some new(er) albums that have come out. Of course The Army style! Take a look.
My favourite band in the entire world, that I would travel the world for, started their Part 1 World Tour last week. Thursday the 12th of March, they hopped into Belgium to play a show in Cirque Royal, Brussels.
I am talking about my love Tokio Hotel. I attended their stop in Brussels and I thought why not make them into my tenth (and secretly best, ever) Music Madness. Lets have a listen.
When I look back at my twelve year old self in terms of music I totally changed my style. I went to really girly to metal, screamo, ... Bands I listen to now I sometimes knew before but I never thought I'd ever like them. Note: I don't have my monthly beauty favourites since I haven't been using to much different things to put in a blogpost. Today is the time to talk about the bands I never thought I'd like.
Music is for me extremely important. If you didn't already know I do a monthly music related post. This month I didn't found to much new music yet I did find a tag that just screams my name (credit to Zoe and Lily) Music made into the person I am today and there's a saying in how to get to know a person. 'See what they've been listening to, because songs tell a lot more than words can do' I agree totally with that! My music Madness #7 therefore is the perfect tag for me. Hope you enjoy!
My month has definitely been one with lots of ups and down. But I know I can always forget all my troubles by listening to music. And if you didn't catch it before: music is a huuuuge part of my life.
You know I am all screamo, metal music. Well this month has been a month completely out of my comfort zone. If have been digging some music that I normally never ever listen to.
Now what have I listened to? Lets jump right into it.
