Music Madness #22: The Graspop Edition

Graspop 2016. It will be my fourth passage going to the festival. And I couldn't be more excited (except for the shitty weather so far we are going to get).

Three days filled with music, friends and the occasional booze :) Since last year the festival has been held one week earlier than other years. This year the annual festival is hold June 17th until June 19th.

Now what I am most excited to see live. Well my music madness had to be about Graspop this time.

FACTS 2016: Spring Edition

If you are slightly of hidden nerd or just very outspoken about it you must know the world of conventions. Around the world convention fans are being spoiled with a very famous one. Comic Con.

Last march comic con was held in Brussels. It was definitely lots of fun however I feel there is this one Belgian created convention, even better a hometown created convention, that wins me over more and more when I go.

Music Madness #21: Guilty Pleasure Songs

You know these songs that just make you happy. Your guilty pleasure songs? I am a long time metal lover so anything not metal usually doesn't make it to the re play list. 

However there are these songs that play in store or pop up when I go out and I can not stand still. And most likely these aren't metal. So I see these as my guilty pleasure. I just can't not dance.

The Harry Potter Tag

I am a massive fantasy fanatic. If I could wish for something unreal, I'd be that all magic, magical creatures and everything would be real!! (Please, I honestly believe vampires are real ^^)

A very famous series includes that magical wish, the wizardry world. Especially Harry Potter, of course. And about that world is an expo in June until September which I obviously will attend (probably multiple times :p)

Music Madness #20: Female Voices

If you ask me what my current playlist is on my MP3 player. 99% of everything on there has a male vocalist. 

I just feel female voices need to wow me way more than a man, more easily, can do. However these last few months I found some interesting bands where the lead vocals are done by women!

And I thought it was a good idea to dedicate this music madness to them.

If you ask me if I know 'that song'. My answer probably be 'heey, they play this in store'. Who it sings and what its name is. Hell knows ... If you have been following my music madness posts you will notice I am more a believer of hard music.

I always seem to be on the hunt for new music, new bands. I find them! However my MP3 player can't handle that much music. Thank god for a laptop with big intern memory :)

Music Madness #16: Bands that used to be on replay

Hello there. Do you remember me? Yes I used to post on this blog rather frequently. However I have been on holiday for the most of September and I got some horrible news a few days ago that I needed to give some time to let that sink in.

Now. That being said. I thought it would be a nice idea to forget all situations for a second and relax with my favourite hobby, listening to music.

Today I am doing so by jumping back in time to my 12 year old self. Bands that used to be on replay.

Recap: Dublin Trip

Last week I had some very welcome holidays. Me and my friend decided that it would be nice to spend that free week elsewhere and go on a trip.

So we did. To Dublin, Ireland. At first is was the plan to hike around in the Wicklow Mountains for about 4-5 days but eventually we changed our plans since it would be super expensive to do hike.

Wishlist: Glasgow

Hello there. For a little while only. I have just arrived back in Belgium and next week I am already leaving again. This time for Glasgow, Scotland. I always wanted to visit this city since my sister goes there rather often and keeps bragging about it!

By the time you are reading this, I will be on my way to the capital of Ireland better known as Dublin. I can't wait to get my holidays after working for a year.

Lifestyle: Dublin Plans

In two days I'll be off to Dublin for my long awaited week holiday! Not having to work for more than 1 day has been quit rare these past few weeks since the Belgian summer holiday only starts by the 1st of September here.

I can't wait for my week off. *FINALLY* Now I am not very familiar with Dublin but I have some plans already set for when I'm there.

Ever since Graspop I was determined to learn Swedish. Best way to do so for me is to listen to Swedish songs, youtubers and such. Because when I wanted to learn German I did the exact same by listening to German bands.
