A few months ago a couple of american Youtubers participated on a colab with Maybelline to advertise their newest eyeshadow palette called 'The Nudes'. I got really excited and waited for a Belgian release. Unfortunately.
Even to this day, the palette never arrived. However a sister did, the Smokes. Huge excited there and today you get my thoughts on it.

The palette looks very nice and feels very sturdy.
You get 12 nice colours, which not necessarily has to be smokey. And the palette is a nice travel size as well.
The colours vary from light pink to dark plum and blue. On the back Maybelline give you a little help on how to mix and match the shadows in duos, trios and quatros. Yet you're totally allowed to use any combo, of course.
Coming to testing this palette. The shadows feel very chalky and that also transfers in the out come aka zero pigmentation.
As you could see on the swatch only the bottom third colour from the left is pigmented. The rest is one big disappointment.
Overall thought: Just one big no. There is nothing else to add than the fact that there is no pigment in these shadow. I was hoping for so much more since I really do like Maybelline. This definitely my first fail of the new year.
